When it's 77 degrees in February, you have to spend the day outside. Kristin and I took a long walk to Smoke after work to soak up the summer weather.

Independent Brewing Company
So many great breweries in Pittsburgh, and only one place to try them all: Independent Brewing Company. I stopped in this afternoon to get out of the cold and to enjoy porter from one of my favorite Pittsburgh breweries, Grist House. Having access to all of these local beers in one beautiful space is just about as good as it gets for fans of local brews!
Apteka
A few shots from today's rather impromptu shoot at Apteka. Ever since I first went there in the spring, I've been hoping to return for some more photographs, and was graciously invited to do so by owners Kate and Tomasz. Everything about Apteka is wonderful--the food, the space, and certainly the proprietors. Looking forward to returning soon! If you haven't yet been there, don't waste another day!

There is so much amazing food in Vancouver. It's hard to beat Bestie though, a small spot in Chinatown specializing in Berlin street food, notable for their currywurst--a bratwurst on top of french fries smothered in curry ketchup. Simply put, it's delicious.
