I did a shoot of Garret's latest creations this week, along with some promotional shots of his wares in action. Most fun are the whiskey bowls; be sure to order some when they hit his site soon!
I spent the afternoon photographing James in his natural habitat, namely his home piano studio. He gave me three ibuprofen and proceeded to blast away at some Boulez and Schoenberg while I worked around him trying to get a handle on my first experiment with off-camera flash. It was all fun though, and we came away with some great stuff and a killer idea for a Buzzfeed quiz.
