Baking the perfect pie.
Kristin and I have been pondering starting a little food/photography blog, and our first deliberate effort toward that end was the documentation of this amazing peach pie. Kristin will be the first to tell you that she's not a fan of pies, but she whipped this up at my request, for I believe there's no better summer dessert than peach pie. (I trust my mom is also reading this ahead of my impending visit, hint hint). The pie itself, though the first peach one she'd ever made, was a complete triumph. I was so effusive in my praise of it that I worry my comparatively tame assertion that I enjoy kale salads will be thrown into doubt. (Just kidding, Sweetie, kale is amazing).
Anyway, I'll let her say more about it in our first post, but for now I wanted to share some of the pictures here on my site.
